With the big Kawasaki Z’s now over £15,000 and even a good K-series Honda approaching £10,000 the Suzuki GS models represent excellent value-for-money classic motorcycling and prices are rising gradually at the moment. The roller bearing cranks and DOHC heads are absolutely bullet-proof which is good news on any classic.
This particular example is an older Restoration and is in absolutely immaculate condition.
The excellent news is that it also rides really well and I had two days of extensive testing on a and B roads together with a blast down the M1 motorway and I can safely say that the bike performed faultlessly.
The paintwork and chrome are immaculate as is the finish on the engine cases. The all-important and impossible to find original exhausts are in amazingly good condition too.
