Triumph Trident Slippery Sam Replica 1977

This is a 1977 Triumph Trident T160 Slippery Sam as built by LP Williams. There is a great deal of history with the bike including lots of invoices for work done over the years. The great prize in the history file is the original invoice for the machine from LP Williams to the first owner – Mr James Crocker. This wonderful machine was actually restored in more recent times by the National Motorcycle Museum and sat in pride of place in the foyer for some time after that. There is a plaque to the rear of the machine verifying this.

The bike is for sale on a good customer’s behalf and we know the machine quite well. It has been ridden recently and quite often bites owner who is a real Triumph triple enthusiast.

On test the bike started readily by either kick start or the reliable electric start that this machine has. Offered to the market for £17,995, this represents a rare opportunity to have such a machine and the viewing is highly recommended.
