Jawa CZ 175 type 450 1964 NOW SOLD

And now for something completely different. I must confess that I’m no expert on the Java CZ marque, but I’ve always admired the rugged  manufacture and also the good looks of the earlier models.

The 1960s bikes have a sort of art-deco quality about them that I particularly like and in my opinion are indeed most handsome but unusual machines.

This particular example have been completely rebuilt and had literally thousands of pounds spent on it Every single aspect has been restored.

Electronic ignition has been fitted as you can see by the photographs. Also thoughtfully, indicators have been fitted which work very well and helps with modern traffic.

The bike is road-registered and taxed as a historic vehicle and  just needs a rear number-plate bracket and a small amount of re-commissioning as we are so busy in our workshop currently and are hugely oversubscribed with customer machines.

I have ridden the bike and although it’s no road rocket it did buzz along quite pleasingly.
