The Yamaha RD 200 has always been a very popular model and continues to be so now.
The electric start is a big plus point and they generally go very, very well.
The engine in this particular example has been completely rebuilt by the legendary and go to TZ Yamaha engine man Lea Gourlay. The rest of the bike was restored by his late brother Dean.
The bike is generally in excellent condition and comes with either the very desirable micron expansion chambers which were of course made locally and sound fantastic or the genuine original exhausts one or the other.
Everything on this machine has been refurbished, the chrome is excellent and the paint flawless.
A genuine UK bike with interesting history that will still need running in but is ready to ride and enjoy for its new owner.
