I have been razzing around on this yamaha RD 350 for a few weeks now and I can safely say that is it is one of the best running and riding 350 yamaha’s that I have ever come across. It’s been great fun!
Mind you, I have balanced/set the carbs and set the ignition myself so it should be quite crisp…
It says torque induction on the side and that’s exactly what you get, smooth running good lowdown and mid-range torque with a scintillating rush of top speed well for a 350 anyway! In fact for a 350 stroker it seems almost civilised!
This example is a real survivor that has picked up one or two marks over the years here and there as to be expected but overall it is in good presentable condition and in my view it’s quite an attractive and rideable motorcycle. Tt is also exceedingly original and hasn’t been messed around with.
The mileage is 8,134 and although I’ve no way of proving it I actually believe that this is genuine given how nice and crisp the engine is and how sweet the six speed gearbox performs.
But this is just my opinion.
