You may know that I ride, service, sell and enjoy Kawasaki H2 750 Triples. In fact I probably have more at any one time than anyone else in the UK.
We bought in this particular example last summer, with the idea that if work was a bit quiet in the winter time, we would refurbish and re-commission the bike making a good ride able example.
Well luckily for us this just hasn’t happened! Our workshop is still busy with a waiting list for customer repairs now stretching towards Easter.
Therefore we don’t have time to work on our own machines currently. To that end, this particular Kawasaki H2 750 triple is offered at a very reasonable price.
The bike is UK registered, running and riding. It starts readily and goes like the clappers! especially with the expansion chambers and bigger carbs currently fitted.
The paint work was done by the previous owner and is in excellent condition. The chrome work is quite reasonable and the date-stamped correct Tagasako wheel rims are also present.
Interestingly, a front twin disc brake conversion has been fitted, which is quite desirable in itsself. The seat has been recovered too.
We did lift a head to inspect one of the bores and all looked very good.
There are still a few jobs to do on this machine before summer.
I would definitely replace the tyres, which are as old as the hills and I particularly don’t like the foam handlebar grips. The brakes work quite well but I change the fluid and give them a service.
Overall, the bike will make a great rideable machine that will turn heads and give much pleasure for its new owner.
Sold as a running and riding machine that needs a little more work before hitting the highway!
