Honda CB 750 K1 Sold Deposit Taken

The Honda CB 750 K1 is one of the most desirable of the ubiquitous Honda K series fours, second only in value to the K0, also known as the sandcast models.

I have a good friend (no, I really do!), who I call Honda Chris. I call him this as he knows every single aspect of the Honda K series four cylinder models.

This particular machine has been fully restored by my friend Chris and includes the following:

– Powder coated frame, etc.
– Engine re-built – checked throughout and chains / tensioners replaced along with all seals / gaskets / o-rings.
– Carbs stripped, ultra-sonic cleaned, new o-rings and fuel pipes, set up and balanced.
– K0 seat fitted with aftermarket foam / cover.
– K3 handlebars (slightly higher than correct K1 bars).
– Tank and side panel badges are K2 spec.
– Front brake stripped, seals changed, DOT 5 silicon brake fluid used.
– NOS fork tubes fitted (and seals and oil of course)
– New pattern rear shocks
– NOS Honda front and rear mudguards (not perfect, ie “shop-soiled”, but very nice)
– New 300 series exhausts.
– Clocks (original to bike) have been dismantled, and new faces fitted – work as they should with good needle damping.
– Both wheels re-built – re-chromed original front rim and NOS rear rim fitted
– New air filter
– All of the fasteners on the bike are either new, or the originals which were re-plated in the correct bzp (bright zinc) finish.

The bike has covered just 21 shakedown miles since its’ rebuild and will need careful running-in by its’ new owner. You will notice the brand-new correct type HM300 exhausts.
