This bike is from my own private collection. I bought it because it is in truly wonderful, original condition. In fact, it is so original, that the O/E fitment INOUE tyres are still on the bike as fitted when the bike was new in Japan.
You will notice the original grey cables, white plastic cable ties, seat, paint, nuts and bolts are all there. The bike is showing just 4459 miles from brand new and I believe that is the genuine mileage but that is just my opinion.
You will notice there is damage on the right-side exhaust pipe, I would like to think that the owner had a little fright, forty or fifty years ago, put that bike in the garage in sunny, hot California and there it has been until now. We will repair this for the new owner for an additional fee, if required.
The original date-stamped Tagasako rims are, of course, evident. As are the original grips and fuel tank cap.
I had planned to put the bike through our workshop in the winter months, when we were possibly a little quiet, but this just hasn’t happened and we are still just as busy with customer bikes, so I have decided to send it to a new owner.
Of course, the bike will need some work to make it road-worthy as well as some sympathetic re-commissioning. So if originality is your thing, then you need look no further!
