Delivered to Henstocks Motorcycles Chesterfield Road Mansfield in 1963, this motorcycle has been owned by Mr Michael Slone until last year when unfortunately due to ill health he had to pass it on, but only to another trusted family member.
The bike’s record is fully documented and impeccable. The bike has the original engine with a replacement frame issued in 1966 after the original was damaged and there is evidence to support this as issued by the BSA owner’s club which shows that the factory records document this was issued as a spare between 1963 and 1966
The engine is the correct DA10 R
The history file is immense with old tax discs, MOT s and the like together with invoices for service work done in the past.
This local bike is very well known as is the owner Mr Slone.
Many spares accompany the bike such as the original RRT2 gearbox which was changed early on in Mr Sloan’s ownership as the close ratios made the bike difficult to manage in traffic.
Currently wearing a period alloy tank, the original accompanies the bike as does another spare.
There are boxes of spare parts also, pistons, barrels, chain cases, magnetos, dynamos exhausts and so on.
The bike has been ridden enthusiastically by Mr Slone over the years and the parts that he has saved over the time show that he cherished this bike immensely
