Son of the Kawasaki Z900 is how I remember some of the advertising going when the Z650 was launched and it certainly was.
The Z650 had amazing performance and genuine 120 mile an hour capabilities whilst remaining light and nimble when compared with the big 750s and 1 litre superbikes of the day.
This particular 1978 example has had a sympathetic yet comprehensive restoration. The genuine Takasago rims have been re-chromed hubs vapour blasted and polished, the frame has been powder coated, the engine has been completely rebuilt with everything renewed as needed, together with an unleaded valve seat conversion. Dynatek electronic ignition is fitted it is actually quite an expensive proposition and top of the range.
Overall this has to surely be one of the best Kawasaki Z6 50 is available right now and will make a great bike for its new owner.
