The Honda NS400 R is truly one of the iconic two strokes alongside the Yamaha RD500 and Suzuki RG.
The Honda is probably the best built of the three and with its claimed 72 brake horsepower and lighter weight is probably the nicest of all the super-two-strokes to ride.
This particular example is in wonderful original condition even down to the exhaust pipes.
The paintwork is superb and the engine has benefited from a complete rebuild by a renowned specialist costing in excess of £4000! As you can see from the enclosed invoice everything conceivable mechanically has been attended to including re-plating the bores, new pistons, new crank, re-cored radiator replaced gears a whole lot more.
