When I was 14 in 1974 I had some brown flares….I also have some brown shoes and a brown bomber jacket to top it off! What did I look like? You can drive your own conclusions….

My girlfriend at the time’s Dad had an Austin Allegro with a brown interior Velore as I recall……. and brown seem to be the in colour.

Kawasaki certainly seemed to think so when they listed brown as the H2B’s colour alongside Green in 1974.

Fast forward to the present day and although brown might of been frowned upon for some years now, this bike looks absolutely amazing.

It’s colour is commented on favourably at lots of the bike meets I’ve been to on it and it genuinely, in metallic form, is very, very attractive and also unusual.

Kawasaki H2 750s are the bike to have at the moment and this particular example has been completely rebuilt with re-conditioned crank, oil pump and so on.
