‘Long legged and easy to live with.’ That was the advertising slogan for the Moto Guzzi Le Mans model when first introduced.
I’ve always thought that really describe the machine’s characteristics. With its’ low revving Guzzi engine, you can soon be travelling at a much greater velocity then may be immediately apparent! I found this to my cost some years ago and also at some cost to my driving licence!
I’ve been riding this particular example regularly for some months and have enjoyed every minute.
It’s a great unusual bike that is super attractive and of course the Guzzi Le Mans One is one of the sexiest Bikes ever made, Starting life as a touring model, this is a replica Le Mans One that has been re-worked very well by its previous owner.
Many genuine Le Mans One parts are fitted and when parked alongside my friend, James’ genuine Le Mans One, other than the carburettors, there was little to tell them apart.
A reliable, fast, easy to live with classic bike with great brakes, super low seat height and above all it’s great fun to ride. Oh and super sexy of course!
The current mileage might go up because I may continue to use the bike, which just goes to show how much I like it!
