Kawasaki S3A 400 KH original with rebuilt engine!!! NOW SOLD!!!

The 400 cc Kawasaki Triples are widely regarded as the one to have. With a rubber mounted engine they are smooth and easy to manage with a good turn of speed.

This particular S3A model is the fastest of the 400s. In a contemporary 1974 road-test it clocked 108 mph and the quarter mile was just over 14 seconds so considerably faster than a KH 400 and nearly on a par with the KH500.

This bike is very very original so much so in fact that it still has its original front tyre! This will of course be replaced before sale, but I have left it on for now just to prove its originality. Even the Kawasaki tool kit is in place!!

The chrome and most of the paint is original and the all important and impossible to find exhausts are in great condition. The cable clips, bolt,s indicators, switch-gear, brake master cylinder are all the original equipment but for safety’s sake some of the cables have been replaced.

The final bit of good news is that the engine has been completely rebuilt and I can confirm that this is one of the nicest 400 Kawasaki is I have ever had the pleasure of riding in fact I loved it that much but my test ride actually span two consecutive days!! And boy was it quick for a 400.
