I really like old Hondas, especially when they’re in great original condition such as this wonderful Honda CB 500T
It is quite an unusual bike to see these days, especially in such original condition such as this. You will notice the almost impossible to find Honda genuine exhaust system is present and very solid. This makes all the difference to how the bike runs and looks in my opinion.
The paint work is original and pretty decent and the mileage of 30,407 is I believe probably correct but that’s just my opinion.
Taken in part exchange by a local gentleman who wanted a new triumph (I would rather have kept this Honda myself!!), this bike represents a wonderful opportunity to own a real classic at a fraction of the price of a retro twin.
I’ve spent some time riding this bike as it is a nice torquey classic that cruises at 70 miles an hour on A and B roads and is a great all-rounder being good in traffic too.
With good tyres and fitted this will make a nice usable classic for a new owner that you can ride and improve should you desire but personally I think it’s just fine as it is.
