The Kawasaki 400cc triples are one of the most popular models overall. They are smooth relatively lightweight, easy to manage and have a great turn of speed.
A contemporary road test by Bike magazine in 1974 achieved 108 miles an hour top speed and a standing quarter mile was covered in just over 14 seconds, so it was quite a bit faster than KH400 model that followed.
In fact performance was nearly on a par with the later KH500 but with a sweeter power delivery.
This is a genuine UK bike and has been owned by a good friend of mine for some years who is now thinning out his collection.
