The Honda NSR 250 is a legendary motorcycle that’s for sure . Delivering close on 60 brake horsepower from a small-super lightweight bike, the performance I can tell you is impressive.

I have to say at the risk of upsetting Suzuki owners the power delivery was much more pleasing than RGV 250.

The PGM-2RC valve timing got an overhaul on this model and responds not only to engine speed but also throttle opening. The big news is that this makes the bike fairly tractable and delivers a surprising amount of torque for a 250 at least then was the power delivery comes on and on the pipe you’re really flying!

The nimble handling of the bike also blew me away if I’m honest. After every corner I thought should I try that again but a little faster still!
I’ve ridden this bike on several occasions and enjoyed every single minute. This motorcycle is all about fun and boy this is a fun ride!

This particular model is an MC18 R5K and is identifiable by its high swept silencers and stainless steel rear pipes. Also the fairing has a more aerodynamic windshield and look very classy and it’s black, red and silver grey livery.

The machine has been in the long-term ownership of my pal, Phil, and if you want a small manageable bike that’s really exciting to ride look no further.
