The Honda CL 450 twin is a very attractive machine with its desert scrambler styling, high-level exhausts and high-rise bars.
I am lucky enough to have two of them the red one being a year earlier than the blue one but both riding very well and performing in their identical ways.
Two pals decided to buy a CL 450 each and go to France on them last year. These bikes performed faultlessly but on return have been little use and now they are up for sale.
I have serviced and worked on both of these bikes and can vouch for their easy performance and also easy to live with manners.
In my mind they are everything that a British bike should have been, lightweight easy to manage, oil tight and best of all…… press the starter button and off you go!
An ideal classic bike for someone that needs to be able to ride around town without fuss and then go out on the A and B roads and cruise up to 60 and 70 miles an hour effortlessly!
